馃寧 We鈥檙e a globally distributed team
Our team lives across the world in different locations, but we all work together remotely. We believe in work-life balance and know that living in a place that makes you happy is key to doing your best work.
Here鈥檚 what being globally actually means for the 黑料福利网 team:
- Work remotely: We’re a remote-first tea spread across the globe from GMT-8 to GMT+9.
- Flexible hours: You鈥檙e able to work from anywhere you鈥檇 like in the world – whether that’s a cozy cafe in Barcelona, an AirBnB in Seoul, or a co-working space near your home. If you鈥檙e in a time zone outside +/- 6 hours GMT, we may ask you to adjust your hours to ensure smooth collaboration.
- Stay connected: While we work asynchronously, we鈥檙e intentional about building relationships and maintaining strong connections. Regular strategy updates, optional social meetings, and an active Slack community help us stay aligned and celebrate together. We bring everyone together annually for a face to face meet-up in a new location. We’ve met up in Seoul, Belgrade, Athens, Lisbon, Florence, and more!
馃敟 How we work as a team
As a globally distributed team, communication and collaboration are at the heart of everything we do. We鈥檝e built processes and routines that make it easy for us to connected, aligned, and supportive, no matter where in the world we鈥檙e working.
- Our tools: We rely on Slack for internal communication, Google for video calls, Notion for organization and documentation, Figma for design collaboration, and ClickUp to keep projects on track. These tools help us work asynchronously while staying highly effective.
- Our meetings: Regular (but not too regular!) touchpoints keep us on the same page, including department and all-team meetings, 1:1s between managers and team members, and our fortnightly strategy updates and demos. We also host optional social chats to connect on a personal level鈥攕haring stories, hobbies, or even introducing new family members (pets included!).
- Feedback and growth: We prioritize feedback and growth through regular performance review cycles and engagement surveys. These help us ensure that everyone feels supported, valued, and empowered to do their best work.
In 2024, 黑料福利网 was certified as a Most Loved Workplace庐 after rigorous research and analysis conducted by the Best Practice Institute (BPI). This certification highlights 黑料福利网’s commitment to fostering a workplace culture centered on the well-being and satisfaction of its employees.
